March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month. It is a progressive, long-lasting disease that effects the Central Nervous System. The damage that occurs means your brain can't send signals through your body correctly. Your nerves don't work as they should to help you move and feel. MS effects people of all ages but symptoms usually appear between 20 and 40 years of age. There is no cure for MS right now, but a number of treatments can improve how you feel and keep your body working well. Knowledge about this disease will bring awareness. MS impacts all of us. Visit www.nationalmssociety.org for more information about this disease.

"Being a senior and not understanding all of this medical stuff, it’s very comforting for me to know that everyone at Medicine Store Pharmacy will take the time to explain things to me, answer my questions and take care of me. I know that everything will be done right and fair." Buck A.
